There's a lot of baby gender old wives tales out there. So what stories have you been hearing that gives you "the guarantee way" of telling whether you are going to conceive a boy or a girl? How accurate was it after delivering the baby? Here's one of those that I had heard before. " If the left breast is bigger during pregnancy, chances are you will be getting a girl and vice versa. If both breasts are of the same size, you'll have a 50-50 chances of getting either sex." Have you heard about this? There's a lot of variation in baby gender old wives tales and there are some that seem to contradict too! There's no exact accurate story that you should trust, but here's some for your reference:
1) Carrying Way
The most famous tales of all is the way you are carrying the baby during pregnancy. The story goes that if you are carrying it low then you are going to have a baby boy while if you are carrying it high, you will be having a baby girl. Though science defies this theory, I guess it won't be that popular to have this tale if it's not that accurate right?
2) Heartbeats
Having been around for some time, this tale even had some approval from a medical point of view at one point of time. It's said that having a girl or boy will have a different fetal heartbeat. Boys will have heart rate of below 140 while a heartbeat of 140 and above shows that you have a girl.
3) Cravings
Have you heard of the tale whereby what you crave can determines the sex of your baby? Having cravings for chocolate shows that you might be having a baby girl while having a craving for sour things are because of a baby boy. I doubt science can prove this as cravings doesn't even exist in the first place.
4) Face Features
How your face changes during pregnancy is also one of the many tales to determine your baby gender. But just because people say that your face is round and you will be having a baby girl, please don't start buying pinks and paint the room pink! They could be right and wrong at the same time because pregnant women gains weight differently during pregnancy and everyone have different changes in their skin.
